I found that the new pro 2300 melts the bags, indicating poor bag compatibility.
If you're willing to spend money, go for the 2300 or 3000 as they have no cheap plastic tabs on the sides.

The machine is easy to use and clean, has a strong vacuum, and provides a wide seal every time.
The machine has a two-step vacuum setting called a "double piston vacuum pump" by Weston. It pulls the air out and then holds the vacuum while making a wide seal in a short time.
The mouth of our vacuum sealer is wider than other consumer products, making it easy to fit most bag sizes.
