I have been using this vacuum sealer to seal meats with marinade before freezing and it has worked wonderfully for that.

I suggest placing the food perpendicular to the vacuum sealer. When I tried placing chicken breasts parallel to the sealer, there was still air between them. But when I oriented them the other way, it worked perfectly.
I am happy with the vacuum sealing strength of the sealer, as it has enabled me to freeze food without risking freezer burns and start sous-vide cooking.
