When using this vacuum-sealer, it is important to not apply too much pressure to the button when sealing a bag. Just barely make contact or you risk melting the bag.
I have cut the top of my bag off and tried to use this sealer on it. What I found works best is pinching the top together, putting the little machine on the bag closest to me and then sliding it away from me.

The vacuum-sealer is very simple to use once turned on. It has a cutting button and sealer button, and charging takes no time. I did not have to press hard to operate it.

Sealing the bag back up with this vacuum-sealer is fast and easy. For chips, one should follow the demo video's speed depending on the thickness of the bag.
It takes a few tries to get the hang of the speed of the vacuum-sealer. If I go too fast, it doesn't seal, and if I go too slow, I'll actually melt/cut the bag.
