After a full charge, I noticed that the battery runs for about 30 minutes. However, I am getting an error 1 when the roomba docks in the charger. I have tried several attempts of removing the battery and installing it again, but I have not been able to fix it.
If I let the dead battery recharge for about 30 mins, the Roomba will work properly for a short while since the battery barely has much of a charge.
I have complained that the battery worked great for a couple of months but soon started leaving the job unfinished and never returning to base or finishing cleaning.
I discharged the battery in a slow manner and got the same results.

The vacuum's battery life is poor and it can't make it back to the base, getting only about two feet away and dying.
I have found that the batteries advertised as having a capacity of 3.8Ah or 4.0Ah actually have just over half their advertised capacity.
I had to use a utility knife to trim the battery and material to make it work normally.

The original iRobot battery that came with the unit held great for 5 plus years.
When I swapped the original Roomba battery back in, it worked exactly as it should. However, it headed back to home much sooner with the original battery than with the new battery.
