The adapter is easy to install and works well to extend displays when using a second monitor, especially on older model computers that only have VGA and USB hookups.
Using two or more of these adapters can cause severe flickering and they do not work at full resolution even if they are run on separate USB3 buses.
After plugging it in, the device never showed up on my device list.
The adapter does not work on USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.

I had an older USB-to-VGA adapter that was durable and could run full resolution on USB2. I could also run 4 monitors with the old adapters on the same USB bus.
The adapter flickers the screen for a couple of seconds before it works again with no visible issues.
Even after it was working properly, my laptop still flashes on the screen every so often and makes streaks across the monitor screen when I shut it down.
