I was pleasantly surprised by the screen quality of the VGA to USB adapter. There was no noticeable difference between the monitor connected with an HDMI cable and the VGA to USB adapter. The driver download was easy and the product worked as advertised.
The cable works only with USB 3.0 port.

I faced an issue with the adapter after updating my Mac to OS Catalina (10.15). I had to reinstall the driver twice to get it working again.
On the third day, my second monitor stopped working, indicating that the product is not durable.

I had to attempt downloading the driver multiple times and was nervous about downloading a driver supplied through a shared google drive. However, it finally worked and I was thrilled.
I am frustrated with the lack of ease of use for this product, especially with the installation process. It should be easy for users to access the installation file for Windows by adding a small scrap of paper with a web address where the installation file can be downloaded. Additionally, some folks do not have DVD drives in their laptops.
It was difficult for me to navigate across both screens with the mouse. I could only move in one direction, like orbiting around the screen, without the ability to move back and forth.
