About Plugable USB 3.0 to HDMI Video Graphics Adapter
Overall Feedback:
97% positive
97% liked its compatibility with multiple devices
This adapter is compatible with HDMI to DVI cable, which I need for my second monitor that only has VGA and DVI.
I was able to connect another 2K monitor to my computer using the device from Plugable and a USB-C to USB A adapter.
97% praised for its durability, but 3% experienced issues
I bought this adapter as a temporary solution to replace a failing HDMI connection on my laptop. Based on my experience, I can say that I have faced this problem personally.
I used the device for a month but faced latency issues and overheating. It eventually stopped working and was not recognized by the USB port.
98% found it easy to set up and use
The adapter runs warm but not hot. Productivity-wise, there isn't much difference compared to connecting the monitor straight through HDMI to HDMI.
I finally found the product after facing frustration with countless adapters.
If I set the resolution to 2048x1152@60 Hz, the latency is gone.
95% liked the fast data transfer speed, but 5% experienced lag
I am satisfied with the adapter as it supports Full HD with 60 Hz on my Lenovo Duet, which is difficult to find at a cheap price.
With this adapter, I can now get the full 2560X1080 on my LG Ultra Wide Monitor.
I experienced some input lag, which was expected.
This adapter outputs 2560x1440 @ 50 Hz but adds a substantial amount of latency (100 ms), making it unsuitable for gaming and generally annoying in normal use.
94% praised the crisp video quality
I noticed the graphics quality is good and the lag is unnoticeable.
I can display video using the USB-to-VGA adapter with the laptop's USB port.
I bought this adapter for my Android Pixel 4a5g, which does not support native HDMI out. I was pleasantly surprised that it works flawlessly with absolutely zero lag or artifacting at 1080p, and the audio-over-hdmi works fine as well.
One adapter worked perfectly with Windows 10 on my i7 laptop with a USB 3.0 hub, while the other had a fuzzy and shaking picture when the mouse was moved, indicating electrical interference from a high-powered device.
