About TP-Link USB WiFi Adapter for Desktop PC, AC1300Mbps USB 3.0 WiFi Dual Band Network Adapter
Overall Feedback:
71% positive
74% liked its seamless compatibility with various devices, but 26% had issues with compatibility
I recommend plugging the adapter into the back of the computer, directly into the motherboards USB headers, as the ping times were double when connected to the front panel of the computer.
I find it confusing that the product was advertised as having Bluetooth 5.0 capabilities but has no Bluetooth support.
For older titles without multiplayer, this USB-network adapter is fine, but for any modern multiplayer game that makes high bandwidth demands, a wired connection is the only way to go.
The adapter doesn't work with routers made in the past couple of years.
74% liked the long-lasting durability, but 26% found it got bad very soon
The adapter feels of good quality despite being made of plastic.
After 2 months of use, the product is now unusable.
On multiple devices, the connection speed drops to almost zero after some time.
73% found it easy to install and use, while 27% had trouble with the installation process
Installing the driver was easy through the included CD and there is an alternative method available.
After reinstalling my old adapter, the issues went away and my performance was back to normal.
The product was advertised as easy to set up, but it was not plug and play.
73% praised for its fast data transfer speeds
I compared the performance of this USB WiFi adapter with my internal M.2 Intel 9260 WiFi/BT combo card and found it to be just as fast.

I can use this USB network adapter with my old laptop that only supports USB 2.0. Compared to other more expensive USB 3.0 plugins, this one does the job I need it to do.
