The adapter was easy to use and auto installed and connected to the saved network.
The adapter is a fast and good solution for connecting to WiFi if my desktop doesn't have WiFi support and there are no Ethernet cables around.
I need to install RTL8812AU drivers, which can be done either with an internet connection or by manually building the drivers with the system offline.
This USB-network adapter works great for everything except for online meetings. From the same router, if wired all is well, if using this it cuts in and out and is generally glitchy despite full signal.

The 5GHz speed is more than double the 2.4GHz speed and consistent with all other devices in our house.
After switching to TP-Link Archer T2U Plus with its super long antennae, my transfer speeds immediately improved.
I ran a speed test and the adapter performed well with a steady download speed of 111 Mbps, upload speed of 33 Mbps, and latency of 15 ms.
I tried different methods to improve the poor performance of the USB-network-adapter, but nothing worked.
