I ordered this adapter as a replacement for my HP laptop since the built-in NIC is no longer supported in Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and it works fine.
I am using the ethernet adapter with my USB wired keyboard and mouse.
The adapter resolved all the issues related to internet service and I did not have to do anything on my end.
I purchased this product to connect an ethernet cable directly to my slim Chromebook that doesn't have a built-in connector and only has 1 USB Type-A connector.

The product has durable construction and is well made.
This product is well-engineered and durable, not like the usual cheap china junk.
I can carry the piece around in a backpack or other rougher conditions without it failing. It feels solid.
Both adapters were problematic and could not be kept attached.

This USB network adapter is easy to use without requiring windows drivers and has a three-port USB hub (3.0 backwards compatible to 2.0), making it installable anywhere even if you are out of USB ports.
Having extra USB ports is a bonus, which I have personally experienced while using the laptop as my primary system.
I bought two of these and both worked fine after 2 days of use.
I found the Ethernet hub to be the biggest bonus of the product.

I tested the adapter on my Asus gaming laptop and found that the speed results were identical to that of the built-in Ethernet port. I reached 936 Mbps on both ports, commenting based on my experience with the adapter.
The USB ports work fine. I tested them by plugging a wireless keyboard dongle and a flash drive to transfer files. The speed was around 6-7MB/s for an 800MB file.
