The adapter was supposed to be fully compatible with Windows 10, but it did not work properly and was often slow.
My adapter should be compatible with my hardware and OS, but it's not working. I'm not sure if I got a dud or if it just doesn't work.
I found that the device worked better in a 3.0 USB port.

I just received the adapter, so I cannot comment on its durability.
I purchased an adapter in December 2017 and kept it installed for 6 months without any issues. However, it failed physically after I removed it once while traveling.
After just 3 months in service, the product failed and started beeping every few seconds saying some device was connected, then disconnected, then reconnected. I identified the problem as with this adapter.

I found the EDUP AC600M USB WiFi Adapter easy to use on Windows 10, but had to watch some YouTube videos on how to get it working on Linux Mint. There were quite a few videos on how to get it up and running on Linux, but it has been working fine since I followed their advice.
The USB network adapter was carefully packed and included clear instructions and a mini disc with up-to-date drivers. It was easy for me to install.
The product installs easily with the included DVD software and provides high speed internet within minutes.
I use the product for my desktop computer because I don't want to run an ethernet cable all the way across my house.

The adapter provides improved WiFi performance compared to the on-board adapter in my Dell laptop.
At least the WiFi issue is solved, but Dell still has serious performance issues.
I am disappointed with the speed of the adapter. It is not faster in some respects. On my 2.4G modem/router unit, the speed caps out at 42 Mbps, which is slower than my 12+ year old single band adapter.
