About UtechSmart USB C Hub, USB C Ethernet Multiport Adapter
73% highlighted the power delivery feature, while 27% didn't
After a year, the power delivery inside of my adapter is messed up somehow and the signal from my bluetooth mouse receiver is very weak.
I have noticed that the Power Delivery aspect of the unit is behaving less reliably and has stopped working altogether.
71% liked the variety of port types, but 29% experienced issues
The USB Type C hub charges MacBook Pro or other Type-C devices while connecting 100W power delivery port.
When I moved the ethernet cable to a different Type-C hub with ethernet, the network interface connected at full 1000/1000 mbps (gigabit).
69% appreciated the number of ports, yet 31% required more
I am able to attach two external drives and my network connection, and the speed and connection are great.
When I unplugged the HDMI, the bandwidth was freed up and the mouse could scroll smoothly.
I was able to add a mouse, HDMI monitor, 2 different charging cables for phone and etc., and have three free unused ports with this device.
The only issue I have with the device is that it has no USB-C data port, the only USB-C port it has is only for charging.

77% praised the data transfer speed, however 23% found it slower
I have plugged 3 external hard drives into the hub, in addition to the Ethernet port, and have not experienced any disconnections. The speeds are very fast, well over 400 Mbps on my 400 Mbps plan, and upload speeds are as advertised.
I faced a problem with the network interface, which only connected at 100/100 mbps. But when I moved the ethernet cable to a different Type-C hub with ethernet, it connected at full 1000/1000 mbps (gigabit).
After 5 months of use, I noticed a significant decrease in data transfer speed. The speed dropped from 70Mbps to 10Mbps or less.
I got this adapter to get faster internet connection since WiFi is limited to around 600mbs and my internet is 1.2gbs. I get that speed on my computer that was already connected to the Ethernet, but every time I do a speed test on my tablet I don't get more than 200mbs, in other words using WiFi is faster than using this adapter.

72% praised the wide compatibility, but 28% encountered issues
It is possible to use a 3rd party USB-C charger of appropriate wattage directly, but only if the thunderbolt port detects Dell OEM parts.
I found a statement on the website that Dell Inspiron laptops are not compatible with the adapter.
I advise against purchasing this USB hub as it has compatibility issues with Mac laptops, causing significant problems and a negative user experience.
72% appreciated the cable length, but 28% required longer cables
When I got a USBC direct cable to the monitor, the video problems disappeared.
The cable is too short to reach the back of my computer and for the hub to rest on my desk.
The cable length of the USB hub is too short for my iMac, causing it to dangle behind the iMac body and not quite reach the table.
