I love the product, but the blue power light is too bright. I put electrical tape around it, but it still shines through the first port. I fixed it by plugging in a charger cord.
I was frustrated that the device did not have any markings near the power port indicating the voltage required and the minimum amps, making it difficult for me to use.
I deducted one star because the USB hub cannot charge larger external drives and other devices that require more than a standard USB port provides.
My computer cannot run devices connected to the USB hub due to insufficient power from the source.

The data USB hub indicates that only the very first port is USB 3.0.
I cannot use all three devices at once on the tablet, including a wireless fob, phone charge doc, and webcam.

I tested the data transfer speed of each port and found that the third port supports over 30 MBps speed, while the other 3 support ~800 kBps.
The data transfer speed of our USB-hub is not good. Only the first port is 3.0 and the remaining 6 ports are not.
The other 3 ports offer very slow data transfer rates and are only USB 2.0.
The data transfer speed is not up to USB 3.0 standards, only 20-30 megabytes per second.

The cord length is perfect to sit directly under my monitor.
I got this item because I was overwhelmed by the number of cables for my keyboard, mouse, and headphones and wanted to use just one side of my laptop to get my cables in order.
I am dissatisfied with the 6 inches of cord. Where to place the hub and still be able to access it is a question. Even 18 inches of cord would make the hub better.
The only flaw of the product is the odd cord length, which is neither short enough to sit up close to the computer like an actual port would nor long enough to conveniently position it elsewhere on my desk.
