About SABRENT Sabrent 10-Port 60W USB 3.0 Hub
Overall Feedback:
91% positive
88% highlighted the power delivery feature, while 12% didn't
After two or three weeks of using the device, two of the four LEDs stopped working and the third started blinking intermittently. It is mildly irksome but does not affect my device's functionality.
If you have too many items plugged in, they will not charge properly as the power is split once you plug in other items.
87% appreciated the number of ports, yet 13% required more
The product has 7 USB ports with on/off push button and 3 very fast charge ports for charging devices.
Two out of four ports on two of our units did not work at all and were not recognized by either PC or laptop.
93% praised the data transfer speed, however 7% found it slower
Transfers are fast and reliable. I have copied several terabytes from one external drive to another, both connected via Sabrent USB hubs, without any issues.
The transfer speeds are the same as plugging directly into a USB port on my PC.
I found the data transfer rate too slow for my application and it did not perform the function I needed.
With the Sabrent hub, I consistently get data transfer speeds ranging from 19-21 MBs/sec.
87% praised the wide compatibility, but 13% encountered issues
The device works well with Computa Pranksta USB mouse jiggler and is fully backwards-compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0 devices.
Most of the devices I use are USB 1 or 2 and there have been reported issues with backwards compatibility of some USB-C/Thunderbolt-3 hubs.
85% appreciated the cable length, but 15% required longer cables
The cord attached to the hub is short, only 10 inches long.
After two or three weeks of using the device, two of the four LEDs stopped working and the third started blinking intermittently. It is mildly irksome but does not affect my device's functionality.
I noticed that many of the ports are upside-down for some reason, and it is something that you should be aware of while setting it up.
