About Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual LED Lit Power Switches
Overall Feedback:
89% positive
89% liked the variety of port types, but 11% experienced issues
I noticed that many of the ports are upside-down for some reason, and it is something that you should be aware of while setting it up.
84% appreciated the number of ports, yet 16% required more
The number of available ports is limited as most flash drives are wider and can only fit 2 regular USB plugs back to back, leaving only 2 more ports available.
The ports are too close together for most thumb drives to use adjacent ports, so only two or three ports are usable depending on the physical size of the thumb drives.
87% praised the data transfer speed, however 13% found it slower
The data transfer speed of our USB-hub is not up to the mark and it does not support USB 3.0 as mentioned in the specifications.
83% appreciated the cable length, but 17% required longer cables
The cord length is not suitable for a dual-purpose USB-multiplier and cord extension as it is very short, not even 3 inches long.
The cable on the device is only 1 foot long, making it perfect for laptops or workstations but useless for desktop PCs that are not immediately in front of you.
I think this item is not useful because of the extremely short cable, even though my desktop only has USB 3 ports on the back.
I would prefer to place the hub in a less conspicuous location as the cable length is only about 8 inches long.
The USB 3.0 ports deliver high-speed data transfer, ensuring my external hard drives, flash drives, and other peripherals operate at their maximum potential.
If I am on a Mac, I am limited to one external display, but it is still useful for me for USB A and power delivery.
