I recommend this product to anyone who needs to plug in multiple devices and send power to an iPhone for using a power-reliant interface.
I need to plug the USB hub into the wall as it does not draw power from the computer. This ensures that any device I plug into it will be sufficiently powered.
Not all devices were recognized by the system right away and it seems that no more than four were ever recognized at the same time.

My USB 3.1 drives should be backward compatible with USB 3.0, but for some reason, my generation 2 USB 3.1 drives don't work with this hub.
I found that the product does not meet the required standards for handling common USB devices.
It doesn't work with my CF card reader and one external USB 2.0 HDD, but it works with most of my external USB 2.0 HDDs.
