88% praised the wide compatibility, but 12% encountered issues
This USB hub is a nice compact option for connecting devices to my laptop with fewer ports available.
I was concerned that the USB hub might not have enough power if I connected one more device, but it performed well overall.
I have faced compatibility issues while using the USB hub as many desktops only have a couple of USB ports up front, making it painful to pull the desktop out just to plug in a USB device.
When I plugged the screenbar directly into the PC, it worked perfectly. the USB extender is the issue.
86% highlighted the power delivery feature, while 14% didn't
All devices work well with it and there have been no problems with data transmission or charging speeds.
Transferring movies from my computer to the hard drives through this hub via ethernet is fairly fast at 20 mbps.
I was concerned that the USB hub might not handle power if I connected one more device, but it performed well overall.
I experienced issues with my BENQ ScreenBar Halo when I plugged it into the USB extender, causing it to flicker and malfunction.
After using the hub for a few hours, I received a power surge warning on my computer and the devices connected to the hub stopped working.
79% liked the variety of port types, but 21% experienced issues
Most hubs have ports on the wide end, but this one has ports from different angles which made it ideal for my setup.
I appreciate the strategically placed USB ports that provide a snug connection for devices, preventing plugs from falling out.
I bought this product because my previous one kept disconnecting from windows and it had 2.0 usb ports.
78% appreciated the number of ports
I bought this product because my previous one had 2.0 usb ports and kept disconnecting from windows. This product has 3.0 usb ports and does not disconnect.
The USB ports provide a snug connection and are strategically placed to prevent plugs from falling out.
83% praised the data transfer speed
This USB hub is a good option for connecting devices to a laptop with fewer ports available.
All my external hard drives and chargers work well with it and there have been no problems with data transmission or charging speeds.
91% appreciated the cable length
After using the USB hub, the cable length is less than a ft. away from my keyboard and mouse and it works great.
I purchased this USB Hub to avoid tension and ugly cable management caused by shorter peripheral cables.
It was difficult to make the cables go in straight without sitting on the floor. I plugged the splitter into the computer and the long cord enabled me to set it on top of the computer and leave it there. Now plugging in a cable is much easier.
For my situation, the four-foot cord is very useful as the ones with short cords would not reach.
The instruction booklet specifies a maximum combined current of 900 mA for all connected devices.
