About ABLEWE USB C to Ethernet Adapter
Overall Feedback:
98% positive
96% liked the variety of port types
I now have USB type A connectivity thanks to the USB ports. Additionally, when I plugged it into my new laptop with Thunderbolt 4 ports, it immediately connected to the LAN at 1000 Mb.
When plugged into the laptop, the Ethernet port is at the end and USB ports are on top, making it perfect for functionality.
I need a versatile adapter with Ethernet port and USB for imaging and data transfer because most new laptops have limited USB or just type-c/thunderbolt ports.
97% highlighted the power delivery feature, while 3% didn't
Fast charging your phone via this hub is unlikely as the USB A ports do not expose any power information to the devices.
96% appreciated the number of ports
I was initially skeptical about the product's ability to handle multiple connections at the same time.
Three USB 3 ports are excellent for external drives, CD/DVD players, charging phones, speakers, etc.
97% praised the data transfer speed, however 3% found it slower
I need a versatile adapter with Ethernet port and USB for imaging and data transfer as my new laptop has limited USB or just type-c/thunderbolt ports.
This adapter can interfere with network connectivity speeds and is not useful for sharing ports for data transfer.
98% praised the wide compatibility, but 2% encountered issues
The USB hub does not interfere with the power availability of downstream devices, even though it does not provide information about the available power.
When I connect the wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse to this hub, they do not work.
90% appreciated the cable length, but 10% required longer cables
The Ethernet port at the end is a brilliant design concept. Ethernet cables usually aren't very long, but having the port on the end makes it readily available and it already functions as an extended adapt itself.
I find the cable length of this product too long, which tugs on the usb c connector and makes it prone to coming unplugged easily.
I now have USB type A connectivity thanks to the USB ports. Additionally, when I plugged it into my new laptop with Thunderbolt 4 ports, it immediately connected to the LAN at 1000 Mb.
When I plugged in both HDMI & a USB receiver for a Kensington presentation clicker into the adapter, the clicker had terrible lag and often would not advance the slide.
Inserting and removing SD cards from the ports requires a lot of force and is difficult to use.
