The sliding part of the design is built well.
The build quality of the usb-flash-drive is great and the slider seems to be well-built, similar to other SanDisk Cruzer models I have used in the past.
When I use the USB flash drive, it gets very hot.
My USB drive's keyring loop broke after a short time.
89% were impressed by extensive compatibility, but 11% weren't
I was able to save files to and open them on the same Chrome Book, even though the device is not compatible with it.
The usb-flash-drive worked great with my Nvidia Shield at first.
A compatible USB 3.0 port is required for faster transfer speed, but it will still work with 2.0 or 1.0 USB.
According to the documentation, the latest compatibility is with Windows 8.
The flash drive was assumed to be compatible with all operating systems, but it only works with Windows 7, 8, 10, and one style of Mac.
86% appreciated the data security features, but 14% disagreed
The product is simple and elegant for protecting all or some of the data on the flash drive.
The flash drive comes with Secure Access software that provides 128-bit AES encryption and password protection to keep my private files private from prying eyes.
I have encrypted and locked the drive with a password. I have put financial records on the drive and appreciate the security feature in case of loss or theft.
The drive will go into write-protected mode to prevent data loss.
88% praised the fast transfer speed, while 12% raised concerns
My Silicon power flash drive has a transfer speed of around 40, which is 3 times faster than SanDisk.
The flash drive has an average transfer speed of 48 mb/s, with a minimum of 46.5 mb/s and a maximum of 71.6 mb/s.
SanDisk Extreme CZ80 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive has transfer speeds up to 245MB/s.
After 30 seconds, the transfer speed drops below 5 MB/s, starting at 60 MB/s.
I noticed that the transfer speed was not as advertised. It started at around 23mb and dropped to around 15mb at about one third mark, remaining at this speed till the end of the transfer.

The video transfer speed from my PC to flash drive is around 10 Mb/s.
I am getting a transfer speed of 24MB/Sec and it fluctuates down to 20MB/Sec.
The transfer speed of the drive is not even close to USB3 specs.
86% were impressed by the capacious storage, but 14% weren't
The flash drive has a storage capacity equivalent to a PC hard drive. I can store the contents of my dad's, mom's and my own account on it and still have space left over.
I received a 32GB flash drive instead of a 256GB drive, as the free space was only 31.9GB.
The flash drive has an actual capacity of 460GB and the pre-installed software only takes up 11.4MB.
The usb-flash-drive I have is now worthless and made of plastic and metal
