The USB flash drive works between all my devices without the need for an adaptor.
The flash drive is compatible with all three connections - USB 3 for laptop and desktop, Lightening for iphone and USB C for ipad, which is particularly important for me.
The flash drive easily connects to all three of my devices - iPhone with the lightning connector, MacBook with the USB-C connector, and PC with the USB A connector.
I'm not sure if the usb-c works or not. I tried to plug it directly into my pc but it wasn't reading it. However, when I plugged it in via the usb 3.0 adaptor it was able to read and write.
