The suction of this vacuum freaked me out when I first used it as it pulled out a lot of dirt and hair from my carpet and stairs, comparable to a Dyson.
I have found that the vacuum works well on hard floors and good suction is necessary as the brush doesn't turn on hard floors.

I found the accessory tube for attachments too long and unwieldy when I tried to clean blinds, screens, window sills, and furniture. My old Shark had a much shorter accessory stick and I was surprised how much I didn't care for the longer one on this vac.
