The vacuum is fairly light and has a neat swivel feature which makes it easy to maneuver.
The brush roll for the carpet and the pet hair roller are great. I have never seen my rug this clean.
It is easy to switch the vacuum back and forth between hard surface and carpet. It does a great job on area rugs without sucking them up.
