The noise level of the upright vacuum is extremely high. I have operated leaf blowers that were not as loud and have stood on airport tarmacs that were quieter. Even with noise-canceling earplugs, this monster gave me tinnitus. My husband and daughter also noticed the noise level.
The noise level is a dealbreaker for me. I live in an apartment and have never heard anything like it.
