I have only lost power once since buying the UPS and it did its job. I cannot comment on the battery longevity yet but I would be happy if it lasts for 3-5 years.
I suggest replacing the unit after 3-4 years of use.
I am concerned about how I will know when to replace the UPS system after 2-3 years of usage.
After only 3 years and 9 months of light use, the unit died.

I installed this UPS to help my weather station survive power outages. This UPS provides a solid sine wave response to the outage with at least 6 hours of continuous power.
The UPS clicks off during power failures despite having only a 30% load as per its power rating.
