The adhesive used in this door draft stopper is very strong, similar to the 3M double sided sticky tape.
The adhesive on our product is so strong that it peeled up the paint on the bottom of our front door when we needed to replace a piece.
Adhesion is pretty good, but it pops off occasionally. I take a big slap to it and it holds down again, so I am not too worried.
The adhesive strength of the product was stronger than expected, but it took the paint off the door when I tried to adjust it.
