The second light is very convenient for me as I can use it for coffee making and as a night light by adjusting the brightness to my liking.
I can easily adjust the light intensity via a wired in-line remote.
I found that the lights could only be dimmed in increments and were not low enough for my preference.

I mounted one of the lights on the underside of my computer desk, above the keyboard drawer.
I like the mounting option of the light bar, specifically the metal sticker plates.
The switch and cable are heavy and pulled the light strip off my desk after only a few days. The adhesive pads provided couldn't withstand prolonged lateral forces, so I reinforced the mounting with a strip of tape.
