I suggest using sticky-tack instead of the supplied adhesive while positioning the directional antenna to avoid damaging the wall.

I was able to pick up broadcasts from 80 miles away in a valley using the antenna, even though I live in lead-mining country where cell signal is blocked from a tower 5 miles away due to the lead, and I have a steel-roofed house.
I placed the antenna in the attic, connected it with the amplifier, and was able to get TV stations from the next city North.
I am getting up to 40 local channels in my area with this antenna and the range is much better too.

The antenna picked up broadcasts from 80 miles away in a valley, even with a steel-roofed house and blocked cell signal from a tower 5 miles away due to lead in the mining country.
I faced very little reception when I first installed the antenna. But, I repositioned it a few times and did another channel search and the results were better.
