About HIDB TV Antenna Amplifier, 25dB High Gain Signal Booster for Digital TV Antenna Indoor
Overall Feedback:
67% positive
66% found it multi directional
If we pair the antenna with a high gain directional antenna, it should work well for RV or camping.
I use an Omnidirectional antenna and a secondary antenna for the best pictures.
I have installed a directional VHF/UHF antenna on my house. It needs to be pointed towards a specific tower to receive signals.
64% appreciated its compatibility with other tv models
I pack the antenna with a small rechargable flat screen TV and flat leaf window antenna (8x10").
65% were satisfied with the signal boosting power, yet 35% weren't
I have found that using the antenna before the splitter, despite the 3db loss, gives a few db boost and works well even with trees obstructing the signal. Additionally, using a quad bowtie Winegard antenna in a window made it functional when it wasn't before.
I use a Magic Stic (Omnidirectional) Antenna and a secondary Antenna to get the best pictures.
The device will stabilize a signal that's cutting in and out on coax serving a single TV.
The antenna boosted my weak pixelating picture to clean and clear.
After inserting the amp, I noticed that the signal strength was weaker than before.
62% liked the signal strength, however 38% faced connectivity issues
a few db boost with the antenna before the splitter, making it as if the splitter was never added.
I improved the weak and pixelating signal to a clean and clear one with the product.
I can adjust the gain control on the antenna to get all channels clear.
After inserting the amp, I noticed that the signal strength was weaker than before.
64% were satisfied with the signal range, but 36% experienced dropouts
I have personally used the antenna and found that it gives a few db boost. I placed it before the splitter which takes 3db, making it work like it did before the splitter was added. Although there are trees between me and the signal, it works most of the time. I also tried a TV with a quad bowtie winegard antenna which goes in the window and it made it functional when it wasn't before.
I have not tested the antenna in long range applications yet, but I think it should work fine with a decent high gain directional antenna in an RV or for camping.
I had a nice antenna at my old house and I think I can boost its signal range to grab the signal.
I lost some channels I had prior to install and rescan and did not get the channel I wanted.
The antenna is placed on the carport roof with specific directions. The ends face north and south, and the long portions face East and West.
