About Waterpik HOS-960M Ultra-Flexible Replacement Metal Shower Hose
Overall Feedback:
80% positive
75% praised for its long-lasting material, while 25% experienced early degradation
The hose is surprisingly more flexible than the one that came with the WaterPik shower head.
The hose is long and flexible, which is more important than its durability.
I am not sure about the product's durability since I just installed it. I am also unsure if I will keep it long enough to test its durability.
The replacement hose is leaking badly and spraying water all over the ceiling and everywhere. I have had shower hoses for 8 years or more without needing to be replaced, but these only last a year.
The hose quality is not up to the mark compared to the original hose that came with my shower head.
72% found it easy to install, while 28% struggled with the connections
Installing the new one was quick, easy, and hassle-free. It only took me 60 seconds and didn't require any tape, leaks, or tools. Plus, it's much more flexible than the old one.
I suggest keeping the washers from the old hose until installing the new one because the threads are very deep.
80% liked its flexibility, but 20% found it too stiff
The hose is a pleasure to use as it is 3 to 4 times more flexible than the one that came with the WaterPik shower head.
The standard hose that comes with a hand-held shower head is stiff and not very long, which makes using the hand-held awkward and very limiting if I need to be able to use it other than directly under the standard shower head.
71% like the perfect size and fit, but 29% found it tight
The hose is long enough to reach the bottom of the bathtub and is suitable for my height of 6'3".
The end of the hose that attaches to the handshower has a larger diameter than most and does not fit safely into the brackets designed to hold most hand showers.
I have to deal with the hose not being a perfect fit in one of three ways, which could be a problem for some users.
The hose was advertised as a universal fit but it didn't fit my Waterpik Power Spray ShowerHead 14 Mode Spray despite being long.
After using the shower hose for two months, it started spewing water from every coil joint.
