The hose appears to be of decent quality.
The product is an improvement over the previous one as it is made of all metal and stainless instead of junk plastic. The rubber seals are thick and soft, ensuring a perfect seal without the need for Teflon tape or pipe dope.
I have complained about the poor quality control of the product, specifically the durability of the tubing-hoses. A significant leak developed at the fitting where it attached to the diverter valve the very first time I used it.
I am concerned that the rubber hose may be breaking down, which could expose me to harmful chemicals from China.
