The trench-rain jacket protects from the rain without getting hot or uncomfortable.
The trench-rain jacket is breathable and I don't feel like I'm wearing a plastic bag. I won't overheat in warmer, rainy weather.

I am satisfied with the fit and sizing of the trench-rain jacket, which is spot on. I am always between large and extra large when it comes to jackets and sweatshirts and the like, and this is no exception. Yet that is good. Thats a God thing, as He made me, and not a seller thing. :) As such, I went with the extra large, and while it is definitely large on me, it has room for heavier clothing beneath. I am confident that if I had chosen large, and had anything other than a T-shirt, or other single layer beneath, the jacket would begin to be far too tight. Again, to my experience, this sizing is just about perfect.
The jacket is comfortable and does not get overly hot or uncomfortable while protecting from the rain.
I appreciate the shape of the hood which keeps my face and glasses dry without having to keep my head down while walking.
