I compared the performance of different transmission fluids in my 2001 BMW 325xi with approximately 130k miles on it. With the original BMW fluid, I did not notice any rough shifts from 1st to 2nd. With the Redline D4 ATF rough shifting was more pronounced. With The Royal Purple Synchromax, it is just barely there.
