On the first day of using the training collar, I noticed a significant difference.
I was initially confused about the prongs and how they worked. There are two sets of prongs, one for short haired dogs and the other for long haired dogs. There are also two silicone covers for the prongs, which I think is to help with irritations from the metal prongs. I put the silicone prongs on myself and hope that it will help someone who is trying to figure out the prongs.

I needed a training collar to help train my dog in boundaries and behave well. I live out in the country and underground fences were not an option.
I have been using the collar for 3 months and charge it every 1-2 weeks, and the transmitter every 2-3 weeks. The collar is still in great condition.

I wanted to control my dog without leashing him every time he needed to use the bathroom. I tried every other method to get him to listen and finally decided to try a training collar. I ordered the collar and tried it on myself first. The collar has a loud warning beep, a stern vibration and the shock actually works. I know a lot of people dont like the idea of a shock collar, but it truly lasts a second, and is just enough to get their attention, and keep them under control.
For high energy dogs that forget their manners and training in certain situations, the product works great.
I try to press the beep with the vibration when I remember so that the dog associates the beep with the vibration.
