I have pliers with a spring loaded push button adjustment that allows me to set them to a specific adjustment and they stay there until I change it. This is an improvement over conventional slip joint pliers.

I am not able to adjust the pliers with one hand like I used to do with my previous pliers. I need 2 hands to adjust them to the proper size.
