Cleaning the cups can be difficult, especially if there is dried up milk or other gunk in the underside of the lid. Letting it soak in warm or hot soapy water for about 10 minutes before washing and trying to get the water moving in the hard-to-clean spots is advised.
The design of the lids includes hard-to-reach crevices that make cleaning a challenge. Despite our best efforts to maintain cleanliness, these hidden nooks became a breeding ground for black mold over time.
