I am satisfied with the toaster's adjustable browning settings. It toasts just right and can be adjusted to my preference.
I usually set the toaster to around 3 and a half for a bit more crispiness, as it has adjustable browning settings.
To get any browning on both sides, I have to set the temperature control so high that it almost burns one side.

The temperature settings of our toaster actually work, which is a rare feature in most toasters.
I had to try all the settings to get my toast brown. It took the highest setting to get some brown on the bread and I had to put it down again to get it brown.
After learning that the heating scale numbers don't make sense and 3 or higher makes the toast/bagel burn, I now keep it between 1-3 and it works well.
The first time I used the toaster, one of the heating bars got too hot and burned the bread, resulting in an awful smell.
