The toast settings are weak and inconsistent. I had to crank it up to max to toast an English Muffin to a golden brown. The heating elements don't work equally and the front half tends to toast darker than the back half.
The toaster's settings are numbered from 1 to 7. Setting it at 4 results in a pretty dark toast. I am unsure what setting 7 would do.
