After putting the battery in, I thought it was not working, but it started moving and made no noise. This indicates good battery life to run the timer without any issues.
I replaced the battery, but it still does not work.
I have been experiencing issues with the timer as it stopped working consistently after a couple of weeks and then again after a month. I even tried to fix it myself by taking it apart, but I believe there is a huge design flaw with the timers as the wires are wrapped awkwardly around the inner compartment(s).
I set the timer for 5 minutes and checked it again after 10 minutes, but it did not move.

I have complained about the audio alarm of the timer. It is fire-alarm loud and every bit as shrill. It goes on about four times as long as it really needs to, and there is no way to stop it that doesnt involve picking the thing up while it screams at me.
The final beep of the timer is too loud and sometimes scares me half to death. I wish the length and volume of the beep could be changed.
