About Taylor Digital Timer Counts Up and Down for School
70% were impressed with the accuracy, but 30% weren't
I have not used the timer long enough to assess its accuracy.
I am unable to reset the time or timer without removing the batteries and then re-inserting them, indicating that the timer is not accurate.
In one test, the timer beeped for almost 3 minutes and I only realized it had reached the desired time.
The timer's alarm is barely audible even when I press my ear up to the speaker.
69% appreciated the long battery life, though 31% didn't
Batteries are included with the timer.
I am unable to reset the time or timer without removing the batteries and re-inserting them.
I am disappointed with the timer's ability to produce a loud alarm, despite replacing the batteries.
76% liked the customization options, but 24% found them limited
I love the timer's excellent feature where the sound does not stop until I physically push the button on it, so there is no way I can ignore it.
I am concerned about resetting the timer, as there is no way to reset it if a mistake is made while setting it up.
82% liked the clear display, but 18% found it hard
It is hard to read the small display size across the room.
I am dissatisfied with the long time it takes to clear the screen after the timer beeps.
73% praised the durability, while 27% found it fragile
I am dissatisfied with the timer's durability. It takes a long time to clear the screen after the timer beeps and requires pressing and holding the on/off button for a minute, removing the finger, and then pressing the on/off button again to clear it.
I have handled the timer in every possible way and am unable to reset the time or timer without removing and re-inserting the batteries.
The alarm is barely audible even when standing next to it, let alone across the room.
I dislike the timer because it sounds like a smoke/fire alarm going off, is loud and has a high pitch signal.
78% found it easy to use, while 22% had difficulties
I find this timer very easy to use with a simple mechanism of setting time and starting it.
I frequently struggle to clear the number of minutes I set and it takes me several attempts before I am able to clear the setting.
I expected the timer to be easy to use, but it loses time like 4 hours over 8 hours.
76% liked the portability
The timer is of a perfect size - big enough to not get lost and small enough to not be in the way.
83% appreciated the loud alarm, but 17% faced issues
I compared this timer with others I've used before and could barely hear them. But this timer is advertised at 95db and I can hear it unmistakably. I won't miss the shut off time again.
The timer is obnoxiously loud and deafening, which is perfect for me as I am hard of hearing and want to hear it from upstairs. It is also loud enough to be heard from a distance, making it perfect for those with hearing impairments. The timer's loudness is an excellent feature that ensures I do not ignore it, as it keeps reminding me to tend to it.
The beeper is loud and sounds like a smoke detector.
The model produces a high pitched decibel noise, which may not be suitable for homes with dogs.
