Overall Feedback:
92% positive
93% praised the adhesive strength
I used Rectorseal to bond the pieces together and once cured, the joined piece was actually stronger than it had been originally.
92% appreciated the fast drying time, but 8% desired more
I find that the putty dries quickly, in about 4 to 5 minutes, making it difficult for modeling.
On my first attempt, the product did not work because I forgot to mix it with my hands and it never dried after application.
93% found it easy to use
I have provided a step-by-step guide on how to use this product, including the importance of properly prepping the surface of the metal and how to mix and apply the epoxy. It is also easy to use and can be molded and shaped within 3-5 minutes of mixing.
I used blue painter's tape to keep a sharp edge with both putty and paint, and then did a quick sanding to smooth and applied 2-3 coats of epoxy spray paint to get an attractive high strength joint.
The adhesive sets up quickly and becomes difficult to work with after 3 or 4 minutes.
The tile-epoxy-adhesive has a fast cure time and works well with wood.

The product's excellent pliability makes it versatile in various situations.
I noticed that the epoxy bonds to metals in minutes and hardens to the toughness of steel within 30-60 minutes.

I use this tile-epoxy-adhesive for making stop motion animation puppets. It can be molded and smoothed with water or iso alcohol, and when it sets it gets rock hard which then can be sanded, drilled, or ground into shape. I really like it.
I initially thought it wouldn't work, but I formed a strong bond with the broken light socket.
