I researched and went with a 20x20 insert, which turned out to be a good decision as it fills out the cases better.
I cut my pillows at 19 inches, but it only took 1/2 inch to make them the actual size of 18.5 inches.
I ordered a size up and if I had purchased 18x18, the pillows would not have been plump.
I suggest ordering the 20x20 pillow instead of the 22x22 pillow to save money as they are the same size.

I am dissatisfied with the pillow stuffing, it is crappy and flimsy.
I find the pillow super flat and it needs 3 times more stuffing to be comfortable.
I had to buy more stuffing for the pillows as the current stuffing did not provide any support.
I had to use multiple pillows to make one full because there was very little stuffing in it.
