I have found that the adhesive strength of this thread-lock-sealer is stronger than blue loctite. When I tried to remove the set screws, it was starting to bend the allen wrench. I then put the barrel into a pot of boiling water on the stove, with the water covering the screws to be removed. After about 5 minutes in the hot water, the screws came loose easily.
I used the product to ensure that the QD muzzle break is firmly attached to the barrel. It works fine.

The key to curing the product properly is to use a heat gun. I used a Wagner heat gun on the low setting and it took less than 10 minutes to cure.
