About TOUGHSOUL Tactical Flashlight
Overall Feedback:
97% positive
92% highlighted the modes and functions, while 8% disagreed
I find the tactical flashlight very easy to operate. I can turn it on and off with ease using my knuckle, and the light stays on until I release my knuckle.
I have a flashlight with both steady light and strobe pads.
I advise not to expect the flashlight to compare with more expensive rail lighting systems or function as they do.
I suggest using the flashlight for short bursts at close proximity and home use, rather than in the bush.
I find the flashlight unsuitable for tactical operations due to its short battery life and lack of independent power capability, but it does have a USB power capability.
I have noticed that the flashlight is not as bright as advertised, around 400 or 500 Lumens.
97% liked the brightness levels, but 3% disagreed
The flashlight feels sturdy and is extremely bright. The buttons are easy to use.
At night, when defending my home and family, the flashlight's brightness level is as bright as I need.
I can see 150 yards or more in total darkness with ease.
I was surprised by the flashlight's brightness and range, despite having less lumens than my TLR6.
The flashlight is described as having 1450 Lumens, but it seems like 400 or 500 Lumens at best.
93% appreciated the beam distance
My TLR6 flashlight shines far and wide despite having less lumens.
95% were satisfied with the battery life, but 5% raised concerns
The flashlight has an entirely internal battery, which is not a huge deal breaker. However, if the battery goes down, I need a whole new unit, which is the only reason for giving 4 stars.
The flashlight's USB power capability lasts only 1.2 hours, which is insufficient for tactical operations.
I find the tactical flashlight very easy to operate. I can turn it on and off with ease using my knuckle, and the light stays on until I release my knuckle.
I prefer the straight push switch functions of Olight over the up/down switch on Streamlight.
