I love the feature of ThruNite flashlights that remembers my last setting.
I like the easy switching between modes and the fact that it remembers which mode I left off on once turned off.
It is difficult to find the button and get illumination when in the dark and you actually need it due to the lack of a tail-cap switch and the basically flush power switch.
I never heavily used or relied on this flashlight because of the power switch and it still failed after a couple of years of light indoor occasional use.

I tested both flashlights with fully charged batteries and on turbo mode. I found that TN12 PRO is brighter despite being 400-500 lumens less.
The only good feature of the flashlight is its brightness.
I like using the low brightness (firefly) mode of the flashlight for close quarters inspections without being blinded.
I almost exclusively use the second brightness setting as the lowest is too dim for my application. The brightest setting is great, but the case around the lamp becomes hot after not very long. I only use it when necessary.

The battery is very stable, holds a charge for a long time, and lasts significantly when used correctly. I have been using it for a couple of months and am totally pleased.
The battery life is great and the mounting clip is sensible.
The flashlight battery died after three days of use.
