The flashlight has a frame that controls the light to be within the square only and provides brighter light to see into small spaces and compartments within a machine or engine.
I like that the switch is simply on and off without multiple clicks for different modes.
My favorite part of the flashlight is the hard to find, two mode flashlight.
I found this flashlight unique because it can be used as a flashlight without having to step through strobe and flashing modes.

My husband loves the flashlight and raves about its amazing strength and great performance. His favorite feature is the pinpoint directed beam.
The flashlight has a push/pull mechanism that can adjust the beam from wide to narrow and illuminate from a room to across the street.
The flashlight has an adjustable beam, but it does not have a good light throw. It provides a flood light pattern.

I have noticed that rechargeable batteries can suddenly die without warning, which can be disastrous. Standard batteries give a warning with the light slowly growing dim, indicating that it's time to replace them to maintain brightness.
