It's easy for me to click from position 1 to 3 rather than just 1 to 2 or 3 to 2.
The larger rocker switch puts the flashlight in strobe mode.
When I push the operation switch clockwise, I have three selections available depending on the mode setting: a) laser only, b) laser + steady tac light, c) tac light only.
The flashlight/laser combo fits well on my 1911.

The laser emits a brilliant green light and creates an aim-point at fairly substantial distances.
I sighted the laser for 30 yards and optics for one hundred. This is the maximum distance I personally need for ultra quick sighting.
The green spot is highly visible even in full daylight, which is unusual.
I am impressed with the flashlight's beam distance and the dot is clearly visible on a target (in daylight) at 1/4 mile.
