The flashlight has an aluminium body and three modes: bright, low, and strobe.
The tactical flashlight is designed to turn on quickly without fumbling, immediately turn on in the brightest mode, and be extremely bright to identify threats.
I have a flashlight with a tail push button switch that has 3 modes. A full press turns it on, another press turns it off, then another press sets it to half power. One more press and it goes to rapid blink at full power.
For a small pocket size light, the three modes (high/low/strobe) work well.
