The keyboard case has a strong magnetic connection with durable edges and tight rubber fitted edges, which prevent the iPad from moving at all. The material quality is very good.
The cover is made of textured plastic and although it doesn't feel like fabric, it doesn't show stains or wear like a fabric cover would.
I am disappointed with the switch from durable fabric to hard textured plastic on the back of the keyboard. It looks like it is already bowing and falling out of plane.
I was disappointed to find that the case is not made of gray fabric as I thought, but instead of a plasticky-feeling material that looks like fabric.
