About ESR iPad Keyboard 10th Generation Magic case for Generation
Overall Feedback:
82% positive
77% appreciated the connectivity options, yet 23% faced issues
I found that the device has its own battery and cannot provide pass-thru power feed like the magic keyboard. I also had to wake it up periodically as it goes into low power sleep mode due to Bluetooth integration.
I was slightly disappointed that the keyboard required separate charging and Bluetooth connection. However, the connection and reconnection process was quick and stable.
I thought the keyboard was physically connected to my iPad, but it is actually connected through Bluetooth.
79% found it slim, however 21% encountered issues
The keyboard case is too heavy and the weight distribution is problematic, causing the iPad to fall backwards if the screen is tilted beyond a certain threshold.
81% highlighted the protection
This tablet-keyboard-case is lighter than the Apple Magic Keyboard and provides better protection to the edges of my iPad in case of dropping it.
The thick edge design provides good protection for the camera and the edge of my device.
76% found it compatible with tablet models, but 24% didn't
I am satisfied with the ESR iPad Pro keyboard I chose, which is compatible with my tablet model.
On the iPad Pro 11, the trackpad is very small and the keys are a little cluttered.
82% found adjustable viewing angles helpful, whereas 18% struggled
Angled views are limited to the single cantilever view and there is no rested angle to view iPad hands-free.
The viewing angles of this tablet-keyboard-case are severely limited and very upright, not like shown in pictures.
I found that the device has its own battery and cannot provide pass-thru power feed like the magic keyboard. I also had to wake it up periodically as it goes into low power sleep mode due to Bluetooth integration.
I gave a 4-star rating for the keyboard's weight of 1.4lbs. It is heavier than the iPad itself, but works well despite its small size that requires getting used to.
The case adds some weight to my setup, but it's not too heavy to carry daily for any of my use cases around the house, on traveling, or on the couch.
