I faced an issue with the chlorine concentration of my swimming pool. I used Xtra Blue pellets over the winter and it caused 150+ PPM of CYA in my pool. The only remedy is to drain it and restart balancing with liquid chlorine.
I experienced eye and skin irritation due to the high level of chlorine in the tablets.
The stabilizers increased the CYA levels too high, rendering the chlorine useless.
